Success Tax Professionals co-ordinates participation in community based events, projects and fund raising within our network. As a franchise network of accounting practices we have the opportunity to reach into the community and help to make a difference. Our practices are Australia-wide and this allows us to support not only national, but also local events. Some of our activities are therefore centralised and others are approached on a local basis by our practices operating in the local community areas involved.
Charities and Appeals
As part of our Twisted Tax Tales short story competition, we are donating $10,000 to the Save The Tasmanian Devil Appeal. In addition, we are publishing a Twisted Tax Tales book with all proceeds going to the appeal. The Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal is the official fundraising entity that directs funds in full to Australia’s national response to Devil Facial Tumour Disease, through the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program.
100% of the funds raised by the Appeal go to the research and management activities that have been prioritised as important to the long-term solution to Devil Facial Tumour Disease and the aim to keep Tasmanian devils sustainable in the wild. Funds also help to facilitate the educational and publicity activities of the Appeal to raise awareness. All donations over $2 are fully tax deductable and GST exempt in Australia.
Success Tax Professionals like to support the inspirational and talented artists that emerge in local communities. As part of a larger project we are working on the concept of introducing approved murals on buildings occupied by some of our practices. We believe this provides an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work and skills and gain further recognition. For the community it provides interesting and diverse aesthetics for both locals and tourists.
