Recently, the Principal Accountant at our Punchbowl practice, Jane Chen, shared a touching story about her loyal companion of five years, Saint Raphael, whose journey embodies the perseverance and positive attitude we strive to bring to our clients every day.

 In 2021, Saint Raphael courageously protected Jane by chasing away a group of wild cats along a fence line. Tragically, this brave act resulted in a severe spinal injury that left him disabled. However, this physical challenge did not diminish his vibrant spirit.

Equipped with his mobility cart, Saint Raphael continues to live life to the fullest. Whether he is relaxing at home or exploring scenic locations like the Blue Mountains, he greets every day with happiness and an unwavering love for people.

“His story is one of courage, resilience, and joy despite adversity,” Jane explains.

“I believe it reflects values that are also important in business: perseverance, compassion, and remaining positive through challenges.”
