Queensland Franchisees Connect for a Weekend of Team Building and Fun

Success Tax Professionals is proud of our vibrant, collaborative network, and there is no better example of this than our recent Queensland franchisee get-together. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team players to unwind, connect, and celebrate their hard work.

The weekend’s festivities brought together a wonderful group of attendees: Javan Tamakin – Success Tax Professionals Slacks Creek, Ronel Kruger – Success Tax Professionals Moggill, Christine Lane – Success Tax Professionals Rosebud (flew in all the way from Melbourne), Eva Chan – Success Tax Professionals Chermside, and the franchise directors, Tracy James and Darren Gleeson.

Culinary Delights at Mulga Bills

The day kicked off with an incredible lunch at Mulga Bills. The menu did not disappoint, with the team sharing amazing tapas including Burrata Salad, Pizza Focaccia, and Octopus and Chorizo, followed by Paella for the larger plates.

A special highlight of the meal was the Two Paddocks Riesling, ordered in honour of Sam Neill. Tracy and Darren had actually dined at Mulga Bills the day prior and enjoyed the food and wine pairing so much that making it the official franchisee lunch venue was an absolute given!

Conquering Heights at the Star Casino Sky Deck

Following lunch, Eva led the group to the Sky Deck at the Star Casino. The team soaked in the stunning river and skyline views over Margaritas, wine, and beer in the sunshine.

The highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly a moment of triumph for Javan. After entirely avoiding the Sky Deck’s clear glass platform in the past, Tracy managed to entice him to brave the heights. Aside from a minor hiccup involving two young onlookers playfully jumping on the platform during his initiation, Javan conquered the deck like a champion.

Footy, Dancing, and Firsts

As the afternoon rolled on, the group split up to enjoy the best of what the Star Casino had to offer:

• The Sports Bar: Javan and Darren headed over to catch the footy, watching the Hawks take on Essendon. Darren left very happy with a Hawks win.

• The Livewire Bar: Later, the guys reunited with Christine, Eva, Ronel, and Tracy, who had been dancing the night away. It was an evening of breaking boundaries, with Eva not only hitting the dance floor (despite claiming she couldn’t dance!) but also enjoying her very first Aperol Spritz.

At Success Tax Professionals, being part of the network is about more than just business; it’s about building a supportive community. From conquering the Sky Deck to hitting the dance floor, this get-together was a perfect testament to the fabulous team spirit shared by our Queensland franchisees!
