Am I human or computer?

What you’re reading right now is written by me. But am I human or computer? Chances are, you’ve read multiple articles this year written by Artificial intelligence (AI) without even noticing. Only a few years ago, it was very easy to tell the difference between content written by humans over computers.

AI-generated content has always been basic and awkward at best and complete gibberish at worst. That is, until now. AI is producing content faster, cheaper, and arguably better than many humans.

Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3) is an AI model that has skyrocketed in use over the last few months. The AI model produces everything from written content to images and video. GPT-3 uses deep learning to produce human-like text.

The quality is so high, that it can be difficult to determine who wrote the text: human or computer. And if that scares you, GPT-3, born in 2020 is only just getting started! Will the next Hemmingway be a machine?
